Kristi Williams

Kindergarten

Kristi Williams has a B.A. in psychology with a minor in biology, and a Masters in Teaching, from Whitworth University. Kristi has been teaching for over fifteen years and has taught in the South Kitsap School District, at A Child Becomes Preschool, and at Tilden School. Kristi is a passionate educator who enjoys teaching kindergarten at Tilden School because of the major growth that is exhibited during this year. Teaching kindergarten students how to read, write, be empathetic, and independent is a very rewarding experience that she values. In addition, Kristi is Tilden School’s Physical Education teacher. Kristi loves and values play, sportsmanship, and learning how to be a good winner and loser. This passion for movement stems from her deep and life-long love of running. Kristi is an active member of Seattle Running Club where she volunteers and competes regularly at a semi-professional level. Kristi’s additional hobbies include: reading, thrifting, spending time with family and friends, attending Seattle Sounders matches, eating as much good food as she can possibly get, and chasing her toddler, Felix, around West Seattle.
