Prisilla Kabba

First Grade

Prisilla Kabba has been teaching at Tilden for 2 years. She first started at Tilden as a second and third grade co-teacher and moved on to being the first grade lead teacher. She has extended Tilden’s warm and welcoming school environment, along with showing her fun personality. She is truly a kid at heart and enjoys sharing her skills and knowledge with the school community. Prisilla made her way to Seattle from the east coast in New York, where she grew up. She went to SUNY Cortland and majored in Early Childhood/Childhood Education (K-6). She spent her college years volunteering in different schools to gain more experience working with a variety of grade levels. She has spent most of her life doing different kinds of dance such as ballet, jazz, and hip hop, and continues to do so! She enjoys playing tennis and taking walks with her Maltipoo pup named Aiko. Prisilla is thrilled to continue teaching first grade at Tilden. She loves all of the learning and fun experiences that she gets to have with the children, and looks forward to going to school each day.
